Kendall Samuel- Engine Builder/Driver

Kendall, originally from Colorado is a mechanical engineer. He graduated from the Colorado School of Mines with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. While in school, he began the build what is now known as the Slumdog which rightfully earned its name having no expenses spared under the hood and sported a beat up outer shell! His responsibilities are to oversee the operation and health of all of the Mechanical Advantage race engines.

Grant Walker- Suspension/Fabrication

Grant, a Dayton native, helps Mechanical Advantage as both a fabricator and suspension guru. During his undergrad at University of Cincinnati he helped create  2014-2015 Bearcat Motorsports formula racecar. Since then he has begun building his Mazda Miata which he plans to run time attack with and continues to help Mechanical Advantage with fine tune handling aspects.


Nick Mitchell- Data Analysis

Nick, originally from Florida, has an extensive background in open source tuning Subarus. When Mechanical Advantage began racing it became immediately obvious we needed on track data analysis which Nick excelled at. Currently Nick reviews tuning data and lapping data as well as adjusts the custom differential controller to make sure The Slumdog is driving its best!
